Who is God’s glamour girl and what are her admirable qualities?
According to Scripture, she is:
G – Gorgeous inside and out

but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

Being alone gives way to much time to think!
Every now and then I think of my married sisters and wonder what it'd be like to have someone who constantly has my back and is there to support me when I need it. Just someone to be there to tell me I'm just fine the way I am. And that no matter what things will work out exactly as they need to. A few weeks ago a friend of mine asked me to join him for Bible Study ( we used to go together every week before I started working my current job - new shift allows me to be off on wed nights so I can do this again! ) and after Bible study he meets with a group of friends. So I said yeah sure I'll go. Who knew the impact that would have on me? It is incredible. I wish I could take you all with me so if you're ever in town let me know I'd love for you to join us. We don't all go to the same church so we discuss the topic of the night at our individual churches, we discuss music and its influence on our community and our culture (good and bad) we discuss relationships and are open and honest. Something asked last night was what are we looking for in a mate. One of the girls had a very simple answer. Support. She wants someone to support her and hold her down like she will him. Someone who can give the love and support and not just take it from her. I had a list. And I realized not one thing on my list was supportive. But when asked what do I think is my role, support was one of the items, in fact it was at the top of the list. It made me remember an article I read in essence where the author was having a conversation with her mother and listed all the things she wanted - established in his career, over all the "boyish" things such as hanging out and drinking/gambling/playing in general with his boys. Her mom just laughed and said "your father wasn't any of that when we got married". She went on to tell her that he in fact had a drinking problem early in their marriage when the kids were young. This came as a surprise to the daughter because she couldn't remember her father ever really having a drink. Her mother said she gave him a choice - drinking or the family. He chose family and they were happily (not perfectly but happily) married until his death. Her mother put emphasis on supporting each other and being there for one another and making that choice each day to wake up and do it together. ( its been a while since I read the article but that's basically it ) Anyways, each week I leave this group with SO much to think about and study and pray about. This week's specific question is - "Who are you?" So if you read this - take a few minutes and really think about who you are. I know who I used to be, but who am I today? Anyways Thats really all for tonight!

30 Day Shred is on!
Jillian Michaels is my personal trainer. And boy is she kicking my a$$
Amazing how a Ten yr reunion can be motivation to get back into shape! I'm not expecting any miracles but I have been giving it 100%... Hopefully the results will be lasting as I plan I keeping myself in shape - this is not a temporary thing. My Dr says if I drop about 15-20lbs it'll take some pressure off my knees and hopefully won't be anymore dislocations off to work out and then off to another fun filled day at work!! ... SO I did manage to put my work benefits to good use these last few months!! All while staying within my budget!
I tried to put up some pics but apparently I've got no idea how - I guess somethings have changed... Oh well I'll try again tomorrow!

- On top of a Double Decker tour bus checking out the city! Its just turning into Spring there and it was CHILLY !!
Mostly a LOT of walking with my backpack (that had everything I needed for a 4 day trip (can I pack or what??) I did have to leave my books and magazines in ATL in anticipation of having to carry that thing all over town in ARG.
Time to go home after a fun filled day in Buenos Aires! Business Elite on the return flight also!! I am competing in a Global Scavenger Hunt to raise money for the United Way. We are to fly to destinations here and abroad collecting photos of different sites and earning pledge money along the way. So far its been a great opportunity to not only see the world, but to spend lots of time with mom and stepdad! Up and running!
So my computer is finally fixed
So here's what I've been up to:Classes are expensive when paying out of pocket so I've decided to break rule number one and next spring I'm applying for financial aid (adding to those student loans really does hurt!). I'm now working a day shift. I'm still getting used to being at work at 11 instead of 3 but I now get off in time to spend time with my friends
I've been working out daily with Jillian Michaels. Much cheaper to do it at home than at the gym. Especially since at the gym I really only like the group classes anyways... Serious waste of money! I'm not dating anyone. The last guy was great, intelligent, funny, caring, loving, excellent work ethic, handsome... and still needing to work through his feeling towards his ex-wife...( He hates her with a passion I'm not sure I've seen before) My bff is getting married in June-I think he's a perfect candidate for divorce court but she's happy and he appears to be making efforts to improve his character ( something that should be done BEFORE you enter a marriage covenant or any serious relationship -imo ) So since I'm not in classes this semester I'm hard at work on helping her plan. A wedding for 150 on a seriously TIGHT budget is tough!! Now I'm even more convinced then ever that a destination wedding is in my future either that or I need to make my 1st million before I get married So - also new with me is the realization last night that I've been thinking that I was mad a God when all this time, I've really been mad at myself. I know what I need to be doing but I've been so impatient with God that I decided that I would just do my own thing and go my own way. Never a good idea but I'm only human right? So where do I go from here? Not 100% sure but I will take the advice of Bishop Walker and go back to the Owners Manual and start at Proverbs! Today is a beautiful day! Incredible incredible day. I'm off work and haven't done my workout yet but I'm about to get to it. Anyways, thats all for now.
